We invite all Marine Citizen Science (MSC) leaders and communities collecting scientific data, tech, apps developers who provides cost- effective technology equipment for ocean’s observations, data managers or data aggregators of MCS data and observations, and scientists using MCS data to CS-MACH1 Marine Citizen Science data network workshop on 3-4 February 2026.
CS-MACH1 is a EU-funded project aiming to develop the fastest multidisciplinary approach for Marine Citizen Science to collaboratively reach a wide impact via data uptake, creating the marine data oriented hub we need to bring citizen science closer to its full potential.
Our workshop will take place both online and in-person in Ostend, Belgium. It is free but registration is mandatory.
On the afternoon of 3rd of February, the workshop will introduce CS-MACH1 project and its goals. It will showcase how to overcome eventual barriers in the MCS data flow to allow the data to reach as many users as possible. On the morning of 4th of February, the workshop will also demonstrate live how CS-MACH1 can support specific activities to surmount challenges presented by participants.
There will be an opportunity to present your own interest on the 3rd Feb, check the registration link!
